Obituary of William T. Heffner

William Tennis Heffner, known as Bill, was born January 2, 1928. He was the son of Francis and Lena K. Heffner, his mother’s maiden name was Tennis. Bill was born in Rome, New York where he spent his entire life. He was a Navy veteran and worked for Revere Copper and Brass until retirement. He married Nancy J Stokes, October 23rd, 1954. They had three daughters, Patricia Heffner, Cynthia (Gary) Powers, and Sandra (James) Miller, and two granddaughters, Jennifer (Michael) Young and Natalie (Brandon) Ball. Bill made many strong relationships in his life, including his good friends Tommy and the Bates family. Bill loved spending his summers in the Adirondacks with his family. Bill chose to live his life to the fullest with no complaints. He teaches us to enjoy every moment.

Private graveside services will take place in Rome Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
