Bill was a great listener! And a good friend.
I would enjoy meeting with him every Saturday at Burger King in the morning. Unfortunately the Covid virus got to us.
He was strict when it came to seeing him during the full extent of the sickness.
Fortunately he told me where he was going.
I and my dog, Shy Shy visited him at the nursing home several times
God Bless him and Nancy
We will all miss Bill! He always had a smile for everyone and a wholesome and honest perspective on how life should be lived. He was a good man, we're all lucky to have known him! RIP
The test of a man is how much he is loved by others and Bill was loved by all who knew him. He was a kind, gentle, generous man and I will always miss him and cherish the times I had with him.
My Father (The Big Cheese) A sweet gentle man. Now who's going to pick on me. Always remember our camping in the Adirondacks every summer, his favorite place to be. Love you dad xo. Love Patti
My memories of Mr. Heffner (Bill), are of family gatherings at Cindy and Gary’s….. he was always so polite, and so welcoming to all of us. I remember he and my dad always visiting over SU basketball and enjoying a good drink together! You raised a beautiful family. Eternal peace ☮️
Bill and his wife Nancy were very good friends of my parents, Merle and Dorothy Bates. I treasure my many memories of chatting with Bill over the years and drinking beer with him and my father. I will miss him very much.
