I am not usually at a loss for words, - except for times like this - you see, I really have a hard time expressing my feelings when one of my heros die. Thank you for taking me under your wing, and helping me hone the skills that would make me a good firefighter. Thank you for the countless fishing trips, and great times, the tons of fish you gifted me thru the years, thanks for the hell-raising we did in our younger days. You walked proudly, to the beat of your own drummer, and did it your way. A few words, from Robert Service, from 'The Men That Don't Fit In' - "There's a race of men that don't fit in, a race that can't stay still; So they break the hearts of kith and kin, and they roam the earth at will. They range the field and they rove the flood, and they climb the mountain's crest; theirs is the curse of the gypsy blood, and they don't know how to rest." Rest in Peace, now my Brother, - we had a good run, you and I - we'll see you on the other side. You will be fondly remembered and sadly missed.
