What a pleasure it was to teach with Marcie! She was always there to help. Acting as mother, father, teacher, & counselor to so many of her students, Marcie taught them that hard work is expected, all the while loving them & caring about their future. She was a task master & they wanted to please her. Our daughter loved her as her 6th grade teacher. God Bless You Marcie, for your giving spirit all those years. Mrs. Bilton inspired me to become a teacher, and as I approach my own retirement, I still aspire to be as awesome as her. She was one of the first people I reached out to when I started teaching! She was innovative, creative, passionate, compassionate, and just such a good human. We have kept in touch throughout the years, and I hope she realized what a huge impact she had on me and my classmates. She will always be with me in my heart and in my classroom.

I met Mrs. Bilton by way of her daughter, Yvette who is a very dear friend. What I remember most about Mrs. Rogers was her infectious sense of humor and warm personality. She had a way of drawing you in and making you feel like you had known her forever. She enjoyed life to the fullest and I will always have fond memories of the time O shared with her.
