Chris had an old yet humble heart. He inspired me to be a better person. I'm devastated as he is no longer here, though, he had a passion for martial arts and was very protective of those he loved. There are some things you can sense in a person's voice, he was loyal to those he trusted as we all grow accustomed to the changes all around us, he was and still is a good person with so much spirit and had been given the chance to know him, he is in peace, not with us, but still in peace. He set a good example for our newer generations, to not take so much of what we are given for granted. He had a natural fear like me and so many others, especially in these rapid times, a discipline in him will forever be drawn and kept close by, I never knew someone who was as passionate as he was, teaching my ways to lighten up and be diligent, as at the time I wasn't, we walked the halls in high school, and shared humor that will forever stay with me, a friend who cared a lot about doing what's right, being the real person within, a person meant to be. There was something in him that shined light in others even if they might not see it, though I saw it.

I remember being late for a class and even thou I had a hall pass in my hand he came up to me while running and said to me why are you running I simply said I’m late and he told me in a joking manner well shot that makes me late as well and I stopped and started laughing and saying well no need to run now and we both walked in to gym class and he always loved being in the class and would ask on days we could pick where we wanted to go he would always pick the work out room and tell the teacher best way to get mad at something rather then someone else
