Noreen, Todd, Penny, Ginger, Ted and families, We are so sorry to learn of your Dad's passing. It is never easy to lose a parent. What a chuckle we got when he came to the Backer/Fox family reunion in West Leyden on his scooter. He was indeed a character! You must have tremendous memories. Q: How did you meet Clifton? A: I met Clifton when I was first dating his son Ted. He took me into his family more than my own family did or does still. I remember,that I came into the family with a 6 month old daughter,and he would babysit her,when Ted and I did things and go out. He took her in like she was his own grand daughter. We married and I was " daughter in law and still calls me that,even though Ted and I divorced. Ted and I had a daughter together,and he loved those 2 girls. Thats the type of guy he was. He was always there for everybody that needed him. Hummel,you are now with mom and may you rest in peace,because you deserve the best,as you did others.
