I will always remember being welcomed into the Reid Family to babysit young Zachary by the beautiful smile and ringing laughter of Chris when I was dropped off on Sunday Bowling Nights. She helped me to grow as a responsible young teen as I enjoyed spending time on Sunday evenings watching out for and having fun playing (Frogger!) with her beloved boy. I will never forget, too, that after all these years we kept in touch each holiday season and I will always remember her as “Mrs. Reid- Zachary’s Mom” no matter how old I am. She loved her family dearly and she imparted that friendship and love onto me and continued it as I grew up- checking in with how I was throughout college and into adulthood with my own kids. The friendship allowed me to keep in touch, too, with Zachary… my first and main babysitting charge! What an amazing woman, mother and role model to all.
