Obituary of Paul A Perry

Paul A. Perry, 73, of Link Rd., Rome, passed away on Wednesday evening, March 16, 2022, at Oneida Health ECF. He was born on January 23, 1949, in Rome, the son of Frank and Rosaria Squadrito Perry. Paul was a 1967 graduate of Rome Free Academy. Paul was employed by Rome Cable and Rite Aid Distribution throughout the years. He was most recently a self-employed mechanic. He had the ability to tell what was wrong with your car just by listening to it. He enjoyed hunting, western movies especially John Wayne, and driving his tractor. He loved spending time with his children and grandkids. Paul was gifted the special talent of being able to hold an enjoyable conversation with anyone he met. Surviving are his four children, Kathy Perry (Lou Mennig), of Sherrill, Paul (Randi) Perry, Jr., of Rome, Lena (Todd) Schuler, of Baldwinsville, and Lisa (Mark) Mann, of Rome; five grandchildren, Kaylee, Elyssa, Nicollette, Thomas, and Megan; the mother of his children, Karen Aldrich, of Rome; and a niece, Tammy Britton, whom cared for him. He was predeceased by a nephew, Frank Wilson. Graveside services will be held in St. John’s Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
