Aunt Dot used to give me carmels when I was a little boy and stopped her house to say hi, which catapulted her quickly to my favorite neighbor. She was one amazing lady and I will miss her. I love you Aunt Dot!

Happy Birthday my friend. We met as neighbors 43 years ago and became the best of friends. You will be truly missed, but you will continue to be in my thoughts and certainly in my heart. I will treasure the times we had together and the memories.
Goodbye my friend…. Until we meet again. ❤️Barbara

Dear Darlene,
I'n mot sure what led me to read your mom's obit in the morning paper. (never even knew your maiden name). I'm so sorry for your loss. Sounds like Mom lived a busy life and loved every minute of it.
I often think of you and your coworkers from Common Ground. We all had such a nice time getting to know each other, didn't we?
Will be keeping you in my prayers in the days to come.
Love,
MJ Gladding

Aunt Dot always showed up with a smile, spunk, and Caramels. Aunt Dot was funny and knew how to tease in a way that made everyone laugh. Aunt Dot taught me the phrase “shun God” and even used it towards the end to describe her difficulty with remembering. She would say what can I say Jennifer I’m getting old,” I’m Shun God”. I’ll always remember her special Christmas cookies and how much she enjoyed visiting my kids. She called all of us her “ rent a kids”. And it was always funny as we grew aunt Dot was the first family member we grew taller than. if you want to look tall in a picture, Aunt Dot is your girl. Colt will miss the strawberries she always used to deliver. We love and miss you Aunt Dot.

We were so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing! She was so much a part of my family’s life. I have such great memories of her when we would visit my family’s house in Appalachin and then Vestal. May the souls of the faithfully departed Rest In Peace! - Tori, Michael, Mary, and John Andrews

Dottie was a true friend to my Mom when she and Ed lived in Apalachin. The Sledziona’s helped her immensely as her health began to deteriorate. They did more for her than I can possibly write here including providing her with transportation when needed, and most importantly keeping her smile and laughter alive and well. Dottie always had us all laughing! We will never forget her giving heart and spirit. God Bless.
