Joanne and Francine, I am sure you do not remember me. I was a childhood friend of your brother, Frank. I am only now discovering your double bereavement. Tardy as they are, please accept my heartfelt sympathies on your losses. I am genuinely sorry to hear this sad news.

I worked with Frank at Griffis for 20 years. He was my boss in the paint shop. I retired last year and went to visit my brother in law at Stonehedge. I saw Frank and asked him if he remembered me. He did and we had a long talk about striping the runway. He enjoyed his job and liked to talk about the old paint shop. I visited him a few times after that amd we would talk about the base, Sometimes he would remember and sometimes not. My sympathies go out to you and your family. I remember his daughters whom I met in the 70''s. Frank talked about them all the time just like he did about his son. Frank is with his son now and both are at peace.
