Name: Mary Patricia Cronin Date of Death: Sunday, March 13, 2005 Residence: Yonkers, NY Age: 57 Obituary:Mary Patricia Cronin, 57, of Yonkers and formerly of Rome, died Sunday March 13, 2005 in St. John's Riverside Hospital in Yonkers after a thirteen year battle with liver disease. She was born August 2, 1947, in Syracuse, and was the adopted daughter of James and Patricia Larkin Cronin. She attended Rome Catholic High School. Mary Patricia attended Skidmore College and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater from Virginia Commonwealth University. She was previously married to David Jimenez and has shared the last eighteen years with Dennis Mitchell. Mary Patricia enjoyed participating in the arts. She was an actress, a singer, a watercolorist, a jewelry designer, and for the last ten years an award-winning designer of miniature couture clothing for fashion dolls under the name Ahhhlamode. Mary Patricia is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Adrian and Hilary Jimenez, Richmond, VA; her stepmother, Jean Cronin, Rome; and her partner, Dennis Mitchell, Yonkers. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:15am at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome, and St. Paul's Church at 10am. Interment will take place in St. Peter's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-8pm. Services: Funeral services are Thurs. at 9:15am at the funeral home and 10am at St. Paul's Church. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5-8pm.
