Gouse, 43, a resident of United Cerebral Palsy of Sauquoit, died Saturday, April 26, 2008, in St. Luke's Healthcare after a long illness. She was born January 28, 1965, in Syracuse. She survived by her father, Charles Gouse, Jr., of Marcy, and her mother, Carol Price, of Wilmington, NC; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Heather Gouse, of Charleston, NC, and Holly and Ken Robinson, of Zebulon, NC; her paternal grandfather, Charles Gouse, Sr., of Marcy; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jill's family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful staffs at the 3rd Floor East Allen Calder Wing at St. Luke's Healthcare, in particular Debbie Perna, United Cerebral Palsy in Sauquoit, and Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., especially Joyce McKevitt, for all the care and compassion shown to them during her illness. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2008, at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Church in New York Mills. Interment will take place in St. George's Cemetery in Whitesboro.
