Hill, 68, of Rome, died on Sunday, February 24, 2008 in Faxton- St. Luke's Healthcare Center, New Hartford. He was born in Lowville the son of Miles and Mary Reed Hill. Parmer was a graduate of Rome Free Academy Class of 1957. On April 18, 1970 he married Barbara Olmstead in St. Paul's Church. He was Assistant Manager of Uni Select- Parts Plus and previously owned and operated along with his wife, Right Parts Corporation of Yorkville, for over twenty-five years. Parmer served in the United States Army. He attended St. Paul's Church and was a member of the Rome Bowling Hall of Fame and enjoyed golfing and photography. He was an avid sports fan, especially RFA Football. Surviving besides his wife are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Parmer of Detroit; Christopher and Amy, Rome; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Orrin, Turin; Robert and Gail, Clinton; Thomas and Karen, Peterboro. He was loved by two grandsons, Tanner and Timothy, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc.,418 N. George Street, Rome Thursday 11:00A.M. Interment Westernville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 4:00P.M. to 8:00P.M.
