Name: Evelyn (Darlene) Schneible Date of Death: Thursday, May 19, 2005 Residence: Oneida, NY Age: 61 Obituary:Evelyn (Darlene) Schneible, 61, of Morgan Lane, Oneida, died Thursday, May 19, 2005 at Hospice's Siegenthaler Center, after a long illness. She was born December 22, 1943 in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of Ernest and Elizabeth Higgs Stanek. Mrs. Schneible was a graduate of Bellaire High School. Evelyn worked for the U.S. Information Agency and the Department of the Treasury for twelve years. On April 20, 1974, she married Richard Schneible in St. John's Church, Bellaire. Darlene was a loving wife and mother. She home schooled her sons for nine years. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Verona, and its Rosary Society, and the Rosarian Club. Surviving are her husband, Richard; mother, Elizabeth Stanek of Ft. Meyers, FL; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Richard, Jr., Ft. Worth, TX, Paul and Sophia, Skippack, PA, Joseph, Oneida; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Delmo Weekly, Jacobsburg, OH, Jeannie and Donald Weekly, N. Ft. Meyers, FL, Mary Eileen and Robert Palmer, Bellaire, OH; one grandson, Dominic James Schneible; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of The Christian Burial will take place on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Verona. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Rome. Friends may call at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Contributions in Darlene's memory maybe made to Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc. Services: Calling hours Sunday 2-5pm Funeral Monday 10am at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Verona
