He was born September 14, 1922, in Annsville, the son of Harry and Hazel Ballard Fox. He was a graduate of Camden Central High School. On November 22, 1942, he married Mildred Farley. Harry worked as an electrician at Bartell Machinery in Rome for several years before retiring in 1977. He previously worked at Iseneker's Dairy. He served in the US Navy in the Pacific Theater during World War II. Surviving besides his wife, is a son and daughter-in-law, Larry J. and Theresa, Camden; a sister, Marieta Sawyer, Taberg; a daughter-in-law, Marilyn Hunt, New Hampshire; seven grandchildren, Kimberly Mallard, Scott Fox, David Fox, Becky Follet, Sarah Fox, Jennie Governale-Fox, and Aaron J. Fox; eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Harry was predeceased by a son, Lanny T. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 7pm at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt. 13, Camden. Interment will take place in Maple Hill Cemetery.
