Dominick Street, Lot 40 Shady Grove Trailer Park, Rome, New York died Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at her residence with her loving family at her side after a long illness. She was born September 5, 1935 in Chittenango the daughter of Jesse and Gertrude Sharp Fidell. Dody was educated in Chittenango. On November 15, 1959 she married Robert (Andy) Anderson in Chittenango. Surviving besides her husband are three daughters and sons-in-law, Bobbie and Robert Foote, Debbie and Peter Spina and Amy and Michael Garcia, all of Rome; one son Douglas and his special friend, Diane Danziger, Hopewell, Virginia; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Diane Fidell, Utica; seven grandchildren, Michelle, Jessi, Sara, Richard, Madison, Tim, Lisa, four step-grandchildren, Robert, Nicole, Christopher, Alisha, three great-grandchildren, Matthew, David, Alissa, one step great-grandchild, Caden, several nieces, nephews and her canine buddy, Spike. She was predeceased by one sister, Edna Colvin and two brothers, Francis and Richard. Dody was a loving wife and mother who cared for all living things especially her outdoor friends. She will always be remembered by her wonderful sense of humor. Services: Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George Street, Rome Saturday 9:00A.M. Interment Rome Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 4:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. Friday.
