Name: David Seaton Date of Death: Tuesday, May 03, 2005 Residence: Rome Age: 86 Obituary:David (Dave) N. Seaton, 86, of 413 S. George St., died Tuesday, May 3, 2005 in Rome Memorial Hospital, after a long illness. Mr. Seaton was born October 18, 1918 in Rome, the son of David and Harriet Peek Seaton. He attended Rome schools. Dave was employed at Rome Cable Corporation for over 40 years, retiring in 1980. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Mr. Seaton was a member of St. Peter's Church and was active in several of its organizations, including the Legion of Mary, St. Peter's Senior Citizens, Friendly Visitors, and was also an usher. Dave is survived by a cousin, Elizabeth Fuller, Florence. He was predeceased by a sister, Gertrude Seaton, who died in 1922. Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Friday at 1:30 p.m. and St. Peter's Church at 2:00 p.m. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Contributions in Dave's memory may be made to St. Peter's Church Memorial Fund. Services: Calling hours 3-5pm Thurs.
