Obituary of Richard C. Gembalski
Richard C. Gembalski, of Taberg, New York, passed away on April 6, 2024. He was born in Buffalo, New York on January 20, 1942, son of the late Casimer and Theodosia (Tillie) (Wasielewski) Gembalski. Beloved husband of the late Emily (Ruman-Youndt) Gembalski.
Survived by his daughters Linda (Jeffrey) Goble and Katherine (Steve) LaCarmen; grandchildren Keith Zelasko, Nicole Zelasko, Caitlyn (Stephen) Thomas, Beth (Eric) Langdon, Caroline (John) Rosenbaum; great-grandchildren Kylie Zelasko, Aiden Zelasko, Stephen Thomas, Jr. and Madilyn Thomas; several nieces and nephews; brother of the late Loretta (Lori) Schumacher.
Richard was a professional driver for S.M. Flickinger Co., Inc./Scrivner, Inc. for 34 years. He later became an independent driver delivering goods all over the United States.
He was a member of the Freemasons. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and boating in his spare time over the years. He was skilled in many different areas working on cars and rebuilding engines to building and renovating homes.
There will be a graveside service on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery.
