Obituary of Joseph L. Theall

Joseph L. Theall, Jr., 69, of Blossvale, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Rome on November 5, 1955, a son of the late Joseph and Helen (Schmidt) Theall, Sr. On September 16, 1988, he was united in marriage to Judy Lighthall.

Joe served in the United States Navy before spending 43 years as a truck driver, most recently for Bryant Core Sands, before retiring.

Surviving besides his wife, Judy, are six daughters, Joelle Brewer (Michael), Nicole Theall, Jamie Lust (Michael), Elizabeth Theall, Amanda Theall and Shyanne Brown; four sons, Matthew Theall, Joseph Finegan, Adam Theall and Brandon Theall; three sisters, Nancy Cramer, Laura Theall and Susie Theall; two brothers, Michael and Andy Theall; twelve grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, William and Stewart Theall; and two grandsons, Eithen Theall and Mateo Roman.
