Obituary of Teresa S. Toepp

Teresa S. “Terri” Toepp, 51, of Rome, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. She was born in Oriskany on July 15, 1972, a daughter of the late Seymour “Larry” and Mary Ann (Kulmus) Kessler. She was a graduate of Oriskany High School and on February 11, 2018, she was united in marriage to Ronald Toepp.

Terri was a beverage server at Vernon Downs Casino for the last 12 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and visiting Turning Stone Casino. She looked forward to her and Ron’s annual adventure to Lake George every summer.

Surviving besides her loving husband, Ronald, are two children, Miranda Martin (Corey) and Jacob Martin; four sisters, Linda Kessler, Cheryl Barcomb (Kyle), Sandy Aventini (Carmen) and Laura Fryc (Rick); a  brother, Scott Kessler; two stepchildren, Anna Osterhoudt (Molly) and Kyle Toepp (Carolyn); five cherished grandchildren, Kaydence, Kennedy, Lauralei, Lydia and Noah; close friend, Megan Thorpe; several nieces and nephews; and her two beloved dogs, Benny and Bella.
