Obituary of Brenda Jo Prosser

Brenda Jo Prosser, 66, of Lee Center, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024, peacefully at home with family by her side. She was born  in Rome on August 26, 1957, a daughter of Francis and Marion (Campbell) Prosser. She was a 1975 graduate of Rome Free Academy.

Brenda worked for Price Chopper for over 30 years. She enjoyed playing golf and woodworking. She has made several items that her family will treasure forever.

Brenda was a wonderful daughter, caring sister, wonderful aunt and an amazing friend. She was a kind human being and positively impacted lives. She was a beautiful person inside and out and she loved her nieces and nephews.

Surviving besides her parents, Francis and Marion, is a brother and a sister-in-law, Randy and Jill Prosser; nieces and nephews, Wendy Carlson, Samantha Phillips, Erin Phillips, Erica Roberts, Ashley Prosser and Kyle Prosser; great-niece and great-nephews, Rich Carlson, Steve Carlson, Kiley Prosser, Brantlee Bishop, Jordan Bilak and Axel Prosser. She was predeceased by a sister, Karen Phillips; and a nephew, Matthew Prosser.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 19th at 6:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome NY 13440. Interment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery in the spring. Family and friends  are invited to call at the funeral home on Friday prior to the service from 3-6:00 p.m. In lieu, please consider a donation in Brenda’s memory to Hospice and Palliative Care or the Lee Center Fire Department.
