Obituary of Nancy A. Marshall

Nancy A. Marshall, 74, of Rome, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. She was born in Rome on September 25, 1949, a daughter of the late Clement and Helen Carusone. She was married to Gary Marshall until his passing in 2008.

Nancy worked at the Quality Inn and The Grand in Rome for many years.

She is survived by two sisters, Rosemary Carusone and Carmella Currier; four brothers, Joseph Carusone, Peter Carusone, Dominick Carusone, and Pasquale Carusone; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Victoria Morrison and Caroline Cummings; and three brothers, Anthony, John and Salvatore Carusone. 

Nancy’s  family would like to thank the Drs., nurses and staff of  ICU at Upstate for their wonderful care and compassion during her time there.

Graveside services will be held at Maple Flats Cemetery in the spring. There are no calling hours.
