Obituary of Earl M. Hamrick

Earl M. “Michael” Hamrick, II, of Rome, passed away on Wednesday December 13, 2023 at Rome Health. He was born in Anchorage, AK, on May 16, 1978, a son of the late Earl and Ruth (Fox) Hamrick.

Michael previously worked as a Manager of McDonald’s in Rome where he worked for over 20 years.

Michael was very into computer programming and was always on his desktop or laptop. He also enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons. He loved to cook and make people laugh with his cartoon voices.

He is survived by two sisters, Kimberly Figueroa (Ed) and Heather Come (Dan); nieces and nephews, David Figueroa (Julianna), Raina Figueroa, Naomi Figueroa, Zachary Harosia, Jacob Come (Casey) and Meaghan Sturgeon (Rich); and four great-nieces.  

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Arrangements have  been entrusted to Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome NY 13440.

A celebration of life event will take place at the Taberg American legion on Monday December 18, 2023 at 5pm. 9275 Main Street.
