Obituary of JoAnn M. Bartlett

JoAnn M. Bartlett, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother,  83, of Rome, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023, at Oneida Health ECF. Born in Rome on August 12, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Florence (Viscosi) Cimo. She was a graduate of Rome Free Academy and on November 29, 1958, she was united in marriage to Gerald Bartlett. He passed away October 20, 2023.

JoAnn retired from the CNYDDSO in 1999 after working there over twenty years.  

She was an avid reader, enjoyed birdwatching, crocheting and knitting. JoAnn and her husband loved to travel in their R V, especially to Florida in the winter. She liked to play Bingo and visit Turning Stone Resort and Casino with her husband.  

JoAnn is survived by two daughters, Tamara Lust (Francis Sr.) and Tina Davis (Robert); a son, Timothy Bartlett; nine grandchildren, Chad and Cheyenne Bartlett, Kristen Versace, Kimberly Davidson (Nick), Kari Vescio, Kelsey Twitchell and Caitlyn, Stacey and Lyndsy Davis; ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Interment will take place in Rome Cemetery.
