"Mr. Bill" Clemmons, 75, of 7454 Soule Road, Rome, New York, died Monday, May 2, 2005 in Faxton-St. Luke's Health Care, New Hartford, New York. He was born April 22, 1930 in Marcy, New York the son of Frank and Regina Coss Clemmons. Mr. Clemmons was a graduate of Oriskany High School. Mr. Bill was employed at Revere Copper and Brass and retired after over 30 years of service. He was a member of the Rome Moose Lodge and the Whitestown American Legion. Surviving are one daughter, Deborah Cathey and her fiancé Jeremy Purple, Rome; one son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Deborah Clemmons, Frankfort and six grandchildren, Ken Jr., Caitlin, Cole, Justin, Josh and Sarah and a special friend, Emily Donley. He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas. Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George Street, Rome Wednesday 7:00P.M. Interment Grandview Cemetery, Whitesboro. Friends may call at the funeral home 4:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. Wednesday. Contributions maybe made in "Mr. Bill's memory to the Floyd Volunteer Fire Department.
