Obituary of Lloyd Chamberlain

Lloyd E. “Red’ Chamberlain, 88, of Rome, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2023 at the Rome Health Skilled Nursing Facility. He was born in West Eaton on January 3, 1935 on the family farm. He was married to the late Juanita Elliott.

Red worked on dairy farms his whole life, most recently at Carl-Stan Farm in DeRuyter, NY.  

He is survived by a daughter, Audrey Fowlston; three sons, Edward Chamberlain (Barbara), Richard Chamberlain and Leslie Chamberlain (Rhonda); and nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two children, Peggy Marsh and Michael Chamberlain.

Red’s family would like to thank the staff at the Skilled Nursing Facility for their wonderful care throughout his years there.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 31^st, at 6:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc. 418 N. George St., Rome, NY 13440. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Monday prior to the service from 4-6:00 p.m.
