Obituary of Mary B. Perry

Mary B. Perry, 83, of Rome, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Troy, NY, on March 25, 1940.

Mary worked at Rome Hospital and the Rome Sentinel Co. for many years.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. You could always find her sitting with her iPad on her lap and her Seneca 100s in her hand.

Mary is survived by two daughters, Priscilla Galler and Donna Baslow (Don); four sons, William Evans, James Evans, Peter Evans and Daniel Morgan; a sister, Nan Lawrence; special friend and caretaker, Cindy Baslow; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Lindy Squires.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
