I had the pleasure of meeting Nita several years ago when she came to Trinity, TX to visit her brother, Chester. He is my brother-in-law as he is married to Annette, my husband's sister. I was immediately drawn to Nita and we became friends. She was a warm, genuine lady. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations, texts, cards and letters. My prayers go out to all of her family whom she was so proud of. I pray you all are comforted as I am in knowing we will see her again when we join her in praising our Savior for eternity. This world has lost an angel, but Heaven has certainly gained one. My sincere condolences to you all. Kathy Cox

I have so MANY fun happy memories spent vistting Aunt Nita, Uncle Herb and my cousins. But one special time when Aunt Nita taught me how to cross country ski all around the golf corse. To Nita’s Family, My Wife and are deeply sorry for your loss. We remember Nita as a gracious and personable lady, with a perennial smile. We fondly remember our travel days with our sons (Greg and David), as they romped around playing youth hockey. We know that Nita is now resting in the arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ. To Sue, Jen and Greg- Your mom and I have been friends since you moved to the point and all our kids, My Suzie, Bonnie and Katie all went to Lake Delta together. Since ou R divorces, and me moving away, we lost touch and then got together again when I moved back to town 25 years ago. Since your mom stopped texting and emailing , and her hearing got so bad we haven’t spent much time together. I really miss our chat times, sitting out on your deck. To Sue, Jen and Greg- Your mom and I have been friends since you all moved up to Teugega Point. I was Sandie Evans then and my daughters Suzie, Bonnie and Katie were all your classmates at Lake Delta. About 25 years ago, when I moved back to Rome, your mom and I renewed our friendship and would get together often at your house to reminisce. In the last year or so, since her hearing has deteriorated so much and she didn’t text or email anymore, we have sort of lost touch. I came up about6 months ago and let her borrow my hearing aids while I was there, so we could chat. But it was very difficult. Greg- do you remember when you and your mom and Bonnie and I would go up to Woods Valley skiing when you 2 were in kindergarten ?? Great times were had by all. I am so sorry for your loss, but Mom is in a place with nothing but good memories now. She was a great lady. Hugs to you all- see you around the point! I will be at the visiting hours and funeral.
