Obituary of James William Mullen

James William Mullen,  83 of Stittville, New York and winter resident in Zephyrhills, FL since 1991 passed away on May 15, 2023.  Jim was a native of Utica, NY and still has a permanent address in NY. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the Air Force during the Vietnam Era. After his time in the military, he went to work as a Corrections Officer for the Central New York Department of Corrections, where he retired from. Jim was a Life Member of the American Legion in Holland Patent, New York. His hobbies were golfing and riding his motorcycle. James is survived by his wife of 41 years, Margaret; sons, Bobby (Mona) Mullen, Utica, NY, Mike Mullen, New Hartford, NY, Dave (Anna) Mullen Bernards Bay, NY, Bill Mullen, Herkimer, NY; daughters, Teresa Alford Herkimer, NY and Kathaleene (Joe) Riolo, Marcy, NY., and his sister, Elizabeth Sommerville, Daytona Beach, FL. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 3^rd at 11:00 a.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome NY 13440. There are no calling hours.
