Obituary of Angel Rodriquez

Angel Rodriguez, 44, of Rome, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023. He was born in the Bronx, NY, on February 23, 1979, a son of Efron Rivera and Carmen Rodriguez. On June 10, 2002, he was united in marriage to Diana Coppola.

Angel was employed by American Metal Stamping and Spinning in Rome where he was Floor Supervisor. He was a hardworking and dedicated employee.

Angel enjoyed camping and four-wheeling, along with riding his motorcycle. He was a great carpenter and loved to fix things. Spending time with his beloved grandchildren was his favorite pastime.

Surviving besides his loving wife, Diane, are his parents, Efron Rivera and Carmen Reyes; three sisters, Belinda Rodriguez, Delilah Rivera and Neida Placeres; two brothers, Luis Placeres (Jasmine) and Hector Cubero; step-children, Jennifer Rodriguez (Chris) and Marshall Lamphier (Kyrie); grandchildren, Maresa, Carissa and Gage Michael; his “work wife’, Marj Davis; best friend, Pascual “Baby” Rivera (Jessica); and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
