Obituary of Peggy Broadbent

Margaret E. “Peggy” Broadbent, 68, of Rome, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023. She was born August 8, 1954, a daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Pickford) Mayhew.

Peggy was a waitress at OK Corral for many years and later retired from American Metals.

She is survived by her a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Tracy Broadbent; son from another mother, Rick Seelman; boyfriend, Frank Davis; a sister, Shirley; two grandchildren, Paul VanNort II and Paige Broadbent; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Vanessa VanNort; a grandson, CJ; and sisters, Susan, Mary, Wilma and Jean.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 13^th at 3:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome NY 13440. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service from 1-3:00 p.m.
