Obituary of James F. Kelly

James F. Kelly, 88, of Rome, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023 at Rome Health. He was born in Syracue on July 8, 1934. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War and on June 30, 1956, he was united in marriage to Dorothy Hazard. 

James retried from IBEW 43 of Syracuse after many years as a union electrician. He was member of St. Peter's Church and the Meeker O'Rourke American Legion #1309 of Taberg. 

Surviving besides his loving wife of over 66 years, Dorothy, are two duaghters, Catherine Dittmar and Caren Ruble; a son, Donald Kelly (Patty); and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Colleen Annis; and a son, James Kelly.

Graveside servcies will be held on Thursday, May 11th at 12:30 p.m. at St. Peter's Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
