Obituary of Larry Ringrose

Lawrence S. “Larry” Ringrose, 69, of Rome, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023. He was born in Watertown, NY, on May 22, 1953, a son of the late Spencer and Ruth (Genther) Ringrose. He was a graduate of Rome Free Academy and in 1973 he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and served until 1978. In 2009 he was united in marriage to Joann Stagner.

Larry was a coach driver for Birnie Bus Co. for many years. He was a member of the Marine Corps League.

Surviving besides his loving wife, Joann, is a daughter, Lori Shawn Baker; two sons, Brian Ringrose (Jen) and Mark Ringrose; a brother, Eric Ringrose (Christine); four step-children, Bill Reed, Craig Reed (Brandy), Cindy Coleman (Cole) and Amy Smith (Elbert); and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Janet, and brother, Tim.
