Obituary of Wayne Kimball

Wayne G. Kimball, Jr., 29, of Rome, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at St. Mary’s Healthcare in Amsterdam.

He was born on July 16, 1993, in Rome, the son of Heather Nodecker and Wayne G. Kimball, Sr.

Wayne previously worked roofing jobs for several area companies.

He enjoyed Green Bay Packers football and music especially singing and rapping where his followers were able to check out his talents. Wayne enjoyed playing the video game Call of Duty. He was always joking around.  He would give anything to help out anybody in a time of need.

Surviving besides his parents, Heather Nodecker (Jadiel Castro), of Rome, and Wayne Kimball, of Rome; are his two sons, Wayne G. Kimball, III, and Cameron Bristol, both of Rome; his siblings, Felisaty Unangst, Malina Nodecker, Dagen (Kaitlyn) Nodecker, Jadiel Castro Jr., Bonnie (Chad) Tennant, William Kimball, Alex Kimball, Angel Kimball, Jasmine Kimball, Audriana Kimball, Sieranna Kimball, Toddrin Baker, and Sabrina Kimball, all of Rome; maternal grandmother, June Nodecker, of Rome; paternal grandfather, Francis Bailey, of Rome; paternal grandmother, Beverly Holt (Lonnie Delahunt), of Rome; his aunts and uncles, Cherryann (Jeff) Fuller, of Westdale, Jeremy Nodecker, Michael (Lessandra) Nodecker, Edwin Nodecker (Crystal Townsend), Brian (Kathy) Kimball, Jeff Kimball, Bonita Capparelli, and Donald Kimball, all of Rome; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom he loved.

Family and friends are invited and may call on Friday, March 17, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome.  Graveside services will be held in the spring at Stockbridge Valley Cemetery.
