Obituary of Elizabeth M. Cesario

Elizabeth M. “Betty” Cesario, 75, of Camden, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. She was born in Rome on August 8, 1947, a daughter of the late Edward and Edith (Decker) Bonner. She was a graduate of Rome Free Academy. Betty was married to the late Gail “Tony” Carpenter. She later married Joseph Cesario and he passed away in 1996.

Betty worked at Rome Hospital and the Rome Developmental Center. She was also an in-home caregiver for many years.

She is survived by three sons, Mark Carpenter (Melissa), Matthew Carpenter and Joshua Carpenter (Whitney); six grandchildren, Ariel, Markius, Anna, Kelsey, Keirra and Baylee; her caregiver, Michelle Main; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Gloria Chrisman; and her brother, Robert Bonner.

Family and friends are invited to call at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 9464 State Rt. 13, Camden, NY 13316, on Wednesday, February 8^th from 4-6;00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Oswego Rural Town Cemetery later in the spring.
