Obituary of Joseph S. Cittadino

Joseph S. Cittadino, 37, of Utica, NY, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. He was born in Utica on November 5, 1985, a son of Scott Cittadino and Patricia Gokey. He was a graduate of Oriskany High School.

Joey was a former featherweight at the Utica Boxing Association and loved the outdoors, especially fishing and camping. He traveled the country going to Music Festivals.

He is survived by his mother and step-father who raised him, Patricia and John Smith; a sister, Brittany Smith; two brothers, Dylan Smith and Scott Cittadino; a niece, Charlotte; two nephews, Alonzo and Giovanno; grandparents, Sarah Cittadino and James C. Smith; aunts and uncles, Andrea Goldberger (Bryan), Nicole Leary (Mark), Sheila Deeley (Lonny), Karen Murray and James T. Smith (Elaine); and several cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Scott Cittadino; grandparents, Joseph Cittadino, Rudolph and Elaine Gokey and Barbara Smith; aunts and uncles, Marc and Karen Cittadino, Connie Thaler and Cathy and Charles DiGristine; and two cousins, Stefani DiGristine and Robert Smith.  

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 1^st at 6:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome, NY 13440.  Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Wednesday prior to the service from 4-6:00 p.m.
