Obituary of Charles J. Rowlands

Charles J. "Chuck" Rowlands, 65, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023.He was born in Rome on May 10, 1957, a son of the late Owen and Jean (Barnicoat) Rowlands. He was a graduate of Rome Free Academy and on May 16, 1986, he was united in marriage to his loving wife, Jane Crippen.

Chuck enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and taking his children for ATV rides. 

Surviving besides his loving wife, Jane, is his father, Owen Rowlands; three daughters, Polly Roberts (Steve), Elizabeth and Creea Rowlands; seven sons, Todd Arbes (Kasha), Jonathan Arbes (Angie), William Arbes, Daniel Arbes, Nigel Rowlands, Anthony Rowlands and Gabe Rowlands; a brother, John Rowlands (Shawn); nine grandchildren, Zachery, Jalyn, Shawn, Matthew, Makayla, Nick, Marissa, Ulyssa and Cody; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Jean; and a brother, Owen. 

Chuck's family would like to thank his grandson, Zach and son, Jon, for being by his side during this difficult time. 
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
