Obituary of Catherine L. Umber

Catherine L. Umber, 58, of Sylvan Beach, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Oneida Health. She was born in Rome on March 11, 1964, a daughter of Raymond and Donna (Yaddow) Umber. She was a graduate of Oneida High School.

Catherine worked at Oneida Containers for several years before making a career change. She became a Licensed Practical Nurse and went to work for the CNYDDSO before retiring.

She was enjoyed crafting and loved animals, especially her granddog Josie.

Catherine is survived by her mother, Donna Umber; two children, Heather Farr and Steven Farr (Jessica); a sister, Christine Clements (Joe); two nieces, Addison Clements and Annaliese Durant (Allan); and several cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Raymond; a sister, Laura Umber; and a brother, Raymond Umber, Jr.
