Obituary of Brenda F. Marsh

Brenda F. Marsh, 67, of Rome, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022. She was born in Rome on December 16, 1955, a daughter of the late Edward and Loretta (Webb) Marsh. She was a graduate of Rome Free Academy.

Brenda loved to work on crossword puzzles, play Bingo and be around family, especially her grandchildren. She always remembered the trip to Disney World and swimming in the ocean on her treasured trip to Florida with her family. She was always laughing and being a jokester. Brenda had a strong will and fierce spirit. The most joyful thing in Brenda's life  was being a mother to her beloved daughter, Brandy. She was so proud of the the young woman she has grown to be. She was loved by everyone and will be missed. 

She is survived by a daughter, Brandy Nashton (Marc); two sisters, Bonnie Bartolotti (Louie) and Tracey Murling (Doug); a brother, Edward Marsh, Jr. (Debbie); three grandchildren, Lorelai, Landen and Faithanne; uncle Danny Webb (Brenda); and five nephews, Jason Bartolotti (Shayna), Jeffrey Bartolotti, Edward Marsh, III, Glen Marsh and Richard Murling (Megan). She was predeceased by a brother, Glen Marsh.

Brenda's family would like to thank the staff of CNY DDSO for their wonderful care and compassion throughout the years, especially the staff at the W. Embargo IRA and Hospice, who cared for her this past year. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 5th, at 6:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome NY 13440. Interment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery in the spring. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home prior to the service from 4-6:00 p.m.
