Obituary of Joan M. Smith

Joan M. Smith, age 82 years, of Utica, passed away on Tuesday December 6, 2022. Joan was born in Rome, NY on Sunday March 24, 1940, daughter of the late Weston Smith and  Helen Cadrette .

Joan worked as a clerk.at Pin O Rama for many years. 

She is survived by three sons, Weston Smith, Rocco Postilio (Raquel) and Ronald Postilio (Krista); two daughters, Janine DeSimone and Tina Zenobio (Anthony); eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; long -time health aides, Lisa and Kenny; and several neices and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jeannie DeSimone; a brother, Ronald Smith; her fiance and father of her children, Rocco Postilio; and special friend, Victor Marashian.

Private services will be held on Thursday, December 15th at 1:00 p.m., at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome NY 13440. There are no calling hours.
