Obituary of Donald E Scott

Donald E. “Scotty” Scott, 76, of Rome, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at the Abraham House of Rome. He was born in Tulsa, OK, on August 17, 1946, a son of the late Virgil and Pauline (Sherwood) Scott.

Scotty served in the United States Air Force from 1966-1986. Upon retirement, he worked in the IT department at Americu.

Scotty is survived by four sons, Mark Scott (Debbie), Jeffrey Scott (Tracy), David Scott (Starr) and Benjamin Scott (Erin); a sister, Carol Tupper; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth.

Scotty’s family would like to thank the staffs at St. Luke's, Abraham House of Rome and Hospice and Palliative Care for their wonderful care and compassion.
