Obituary of Genevieve E. Houle

Genevieve E (La Vair) Houle (Jenny), 96,  passed away peacefully in her sleep on Nov 23, 2022. She was born on April 21, 1926 To Charlotte and Wilbur LaVair. She married Robert M. Houle, Sr. on February 16, 1953 and had three children together. 

         She was a very loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a laugh that was contagious and a smile that would brighten a room. Her passion was walking and when she could no longer do that, she enjoyed cooking, playing her organ, doing crosswords, talking on the phone and watching Jeopardy.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.

         She is survived by her three children: Patricia Mercado, Robert Houle Jr. (Gina Houle), and Karen Newton (Tony Newton): Her brothers, Charles and Clifford LaVair and sister Beverly LaVair. Also, eight grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren. Along with a slew of nieces and nephews. 

          She is predeceased in death by both her mother and father, her husband Robert Houle Sr., her beloved son Nathan LaVair, brother William (Bill) LaVair and sisters Mildred (Millie) LaVair, Veronica (Ronnie) Rupley, and Virginia LaVair.  

            She was loved, will be dearly missed, and will be forever in our hearts.
