Obituary of Bobbie Jo Beckwith

Please share a memory of Bobbie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Bobbie Jo Beckwith, 40, of Rome, NY, passed away November 15, 2022 after a lifelong illness. She was born in Rome on July 17, 1982, to the late Earl Jr. and Bonnie Beckwith. After graduating from Rome Free Academy in 2002, she attended the Rome ARC work program until 2020.

Bobbie Jo was a miracle baby, she fought her whole life and lived to her fullest ability. She woke every morning shining with the sun no matter the struggles she surpassed. Bobbie Jo loved watching PBS and cartoons of all sorts. She enjoyed birthday parties and family gatherings; music and the color red. Cake and soda were her favorites. Bobbie Jo was avid believer in God and celebrated knowing when someone went to Heaven. Bobbie Jo loved everybody and will be greatly missed by her friends and especially her family.

She is survived by her brothers, Earl Beckwith, III and Ryan Beckwith; nephews, Kaleb and Ryan, Jr.; nieces, Giavanna (Tyler) and Khloe; her great-niece, Ellia; and many friends and family. Bobbie Jo was predeceased by her parents; grandparents, Earl and Mary Lombino Beckwith, Sr. and Albert and Margaret Ruth Edwards II.

Bobbie Jo’s family would like to thank her cousin, Johanna Sharpe, for all that she did for Bobbie Jo.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome NY 13440.
