Walnut St., Rome, died on Saturday, September 1, 2007, at her residence. She was born on June 12, 1922, in Poughkeepsie, NY, the daughter of James and Mary Madigan Moore, Jr. She graduated from Whitesboro Central High School in 1940. On June 6, 1942, she married Adelbert (Del) Haggas in Utica. Surviving besides her loving husband; is a daughter-in-law, Susan Haggas, Rome; a grandson and his wife, Jeremy and Michelle Haggas, Whitesboro; granddaughter, Corinne Haggas, Rome; two great-grandchildren, Samantha and Griffin; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, James R. Haggas, Jr.; two sisters, Eleanor Moore and Mary Kittle; and three brothers, Tom Moore, James Moore, and Edward Moore. Services: Funeral services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome, on Wednesday, September 5, 2007, at 10:30 AM. Interment Rome Cemetery. Friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 4, 2007, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
