Obituary of Rickey A. Russell, Sr

Rickey A. Russell, Sr. passed away on October 13, 2022 with his family by his side. He was born on March 15, 1961, to Clarence and Evelyn Russell.

Rickey loved hunting, playing cards and riding his Harley.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie Kimball Blanchard; son Rickey Russell, Jr. (Michelle); two daughters, Tabatha Ackerman (Willard) and Theresa Friebel (Corey); six step-children, Kristina, Michael, James, Mike, Heather and Chad; three brothers, Mike, Joe (Ginny) and Roger (Gigi); a sister, Linda Lighthall (Ralph); twenty grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; and the mother of his children, Darlene Muscarella Hicks. He was predeceased by his parents; seven brothers and one sister; and a longtime partner, Shari Pratt.

Rickey’s family would like to thank the 6^th Floor nursing staff at MVHS-St. Luke’s, especially Brittany Harris and Maggie Lonkey, for their wonderful care and compassion.
