Eugene Blackburn posted a condolence

My name is Gene Blackburn and I worked with Amy when she was at Rome Lab. I want to commend the writer(s) of the obituary, it is a wonderful recognition of the life of an excellent person. I had the opportunity to talk regularly with Amy, we shared the attribute of having been veterans of war time service. And like Amy, I had been assigned jobs because I had the service time, and was placed where we had limited background. She was dedicated to doing every job she was assigned. We shared our service time stories so I knew most of that part of her life. She was especially proud of her work in Griffiss AFB Logistics where she tracked fuel usage and ordered a commodity of critical importance. An obituary (the good ones, as this one is) gave me the rest of the story! After she retired from Rome Lab, I saw less of her, but we still met and talked at Price Chopper. Thank you again for giving us such a great walk down the path of a very nice person's life. My wife Ruth and I send our sincerest condolences.
