Obituary of Leola E. Sjoblom

Leola E. Sjoblom, 82, of Inverness, FL, and formerly of Rome, passed away on July 2, 2022. Born in Malone, NY, on October 24, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Niles and Eleanor (Seymour) Sorrell. On July 19, 1986, she was united in marriage to Donald Sjoblom. He passed away April 18, 2020.

Leola is survived by a sister, Darleen Beadnell; four brothers, Royal Sorrell, Alton Sorrell (Nancy), Marvin Sorrell and Lyle Sorrell; five step-daughters, Roxanne (Tim) Chase, twins Gail (George) Sgroi and Teresa (Mike) Lenda, Dawn Sjoblom and Allison (Bill) Dunn; a step-son, Donald Sjoblom Jr.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by step-daughter, Debbie; and two sisters, Joan Van Allen and Brenda Sorrell.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome, NY 13440. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home prior to the service from 2-4:00 p.m.
