Pauline Osborne, 99, passed away May 28, 2022. She was born on March 11, 1923 in Rome, NY. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Osborne, her sisters, Mary Lansburg, Rose Crossman and Sophie DiSanto. She is survived by her three children, Mary Ann (Russ) Peacock, Daytona Beach, FL, Paulette Osborne, Chandler, AZ and Robert S. (Katherine) Osborne, Waldoboro, ME. She was blessed with 7 grandchildren, Mark P. (Tracey) Johnson, Gregg (Nicole) Johnson, Marie (Frank) Casavant, Allison (Rodney) Roberts, Lindsay (Miguel) Lopez, Max Osborne and Anya Osborne. She was also blessed with 13 great grandchildren. She loved her family very much. Pauline worked as a secretary at Griffiss Air Force Base until she lost her sight. She then spent a few years caring for her grandchildren. For many years after that, she was a seamstress at the Central Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired workshop in Utica, NY. Family and friends are invited to call at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St. on Monday, June 6th from 4-6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Transfiguration Church, 111 Ridge St. on Tuesday, June 7th at 1:00 PM, followed by burial at Rome Cemetery, 1500 Jervis Ave. Flowers are welcome or if you prefer, donations may be made in her honor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Central Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Utica, NY.
