Obituary of Adam C. N. Baker

Adam Conrad Najada Baker Tassini, 36, of Rome, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. He was born on April 28th, 1985, in Rome, the son of Sandra Baker and Andrew “Rusty” Tassini. Adam attended Lafayette High School. He was a larger-than-life man and anyone that knew him, loved him, heart and soul. He will be greatly and forever missed by so many. He loved hard and had a smile that drew you in and kept you there. He was previously employed by the New York State Thruway Authority for several years. Surviving besides his father and step-mother, Rusty and Patricia Tassini, of Old Forge; are his two beautiful daughters that he loved with all of his heart, Jaeley and Rielyn, both of whom reside with their mom, Nikki; three brothers, Toddrin Baker, Michael (Melanie) Tassini, and John (Lauren) Tassini; two sisters, Jamie Baker, and Adrienne (Christian) Renfoe; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Adam was predeceased by his mother, Sandra; his brother, Jadreck Baker; maternal grandmother, Frances Baker Carney; and paternal grandmother, Grandma T (June); and best friend, Thomas Sheppard. The Baker family will receive family and friends on Monday, March 28, 2022, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome.
