Obituary of Chrissy Meyers

Christine E. “Chrissy” Meyers, 71, of Rome, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. She was born in Rome on May 29, 1950, a daughter of the late Clayton and Jean (Schuster) Meyers. She was a graduate of Rome Free Academy. Chrissy was an LPN at Rome Hospital for 28 years. She was with the Fire Police of the Fort Stanwix Fire Department and she was an Election Inspector for many years. Chrissy was dependable and hardworking and loved dearly for her kind, selfless heart and endless wit. She was frequently accompanied by her beloved shelties and made routine stops at her second home, Eddie’s Paramount Diner. She is survived by her loving sister, Karen Tiller; and one nephew, three great-nieces and several cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Darlene Crampton. Family and friends are invited to call at Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome, on Thursday, March 10th from 4-6:00 p.m. Private services will be held in the spring.
